General Biodiesel, Inc., is the only totally vertically integrated biodiesel producer in Washington State.  General Biodiesel purchases waste vegetable oil from its food service partners and produces ASTM certified biodiesel for use in local industry and transportation.  Founded in 2006, General Biodiesel is the leading producer of biodiesel in the region.

General BioDiesel is currently in search of undergraduate business students with a desire to contribute to the region’s leading biodiesel manufacturer’s sales force expansion.  Your mission will be to contact food service providers, inside of well defined sales territories, tell them our story and contract with them to provide us with their waste vegetable oil.

We are currently hiring for the following positions:  Sales Representative (Tacoma)

Job Responsibilities:

·         Must learn and live the mission and vision of General Biodiesel

·         Fully penetrate assigned target markets with the GBI message and bring as many food service partners on board

·         Reach sales goals at every point throughout the introductory period

·         Be flexible and willing to adjust to changing work environment

Requirements:

·         Must be high energy and display tenacity at every turn

·         Must provide own transportation

·         Must be able to attend every training session (in person) and meeting (in person or call in) held at the main office on West Marginal Way SW, Seattle, WA, 98106

Compensation:

·         Compensation for this position is commission only on a graduating scale determined by performance and longevity in the position.

·         For those sales professionals that display all of the required characteristics, AND meet all benchmarks and sales goals, there may be an opportunity to move into a full time salary + commission position at the end of the introductory period.
