Description: This position is responsible for assessing technologies, evaluating utility programs, providing engineering and analytical support, performing engineering data analysis and interpretation, conducting data collection and field instrumentation at commercial and industrial facilities. Serves as the primary point of contact for multiple customers; managing detailed projects; writing reports and proposals; and presenting papers at conferences. Experience with the industrial and commercial sectors; utility energy efficiency programs; renewable/self-generation equipment and programs; building equipment and systems; building energy use assessment; and building simulation (e.g., eQUEST/DOE2.2) is essential.
Duties & Responsibilities
1. Provide advanced engineering and other analytical support for projects.
2. Leads or assists with the preparation of assigned proposals and participates in sales presentations as requested, and prepares and presents papers at conferences.
3. Leads or assists in the preparation of project reports for clients and makes presentations to clients as requested
4. Provide miscellaneous advanced technical and engineering support to analysts.
5. Review academic and industry literature to stay abreast of latest advances in the field.
6. Maintains frequent client contact, and may serve as the primary client contact on assigned projects.
7. Directs or manages Consulting & Analysis projects of all sizes.
8. May supervise or lead assigned staff
9. Plan, execute and deliver results on time.
10. Show a proactive commitment to quality and continuous improvement.
Qualifications: Experience: Typically requires a minimum of 8 years of related experience
Education: Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent experience.
Certifications: PE Preferred but not required
Travel Requirements: 10 - 25%
