Description:      Serves as the senior technical consultant in specialties such as economics, energy policy, market research, and statistical analysis. Within this function, the incumbent directs projects, serves as lead technical analyst on projects and provides expert technical guidance to others in the Consulting and Analysis (C and A) organization. Delivers consulting project activities, ranging from client identification through final invoicing through medium- to long-term engagements requiring varied interpersonal and technical skills. Technical responsibilities include problem identification, system architecture definition, hardware/software specification and/or design, implementation, testing, client training, and solution deployment. Performance is typically evaluated based on utilization, (i.e., billable hours) and contractual deliverables. Project management activities include interaction with company and client managers and cost/schedule monitoring. May have some financial responsibilities including project cost estimating, proposal generation, and invoicing. May participate in sales and proposal presentations in addition to completing ongoing team account activities. Identifies additional product/services opportunities in customer organization. Viewed by customers as a consultant. Performance is typically measured by delivery of agreed solutions within budgeted hours.

Duties & Responsibilities
1. Provide advanced analytical support for projects.
2. Serve as the primary client contact.
3. Direct or manage C&A projects of all sizes.
4. Lead or assist with the preparation of assigned proposals.
5. Participate in sales presentations.
6. Prepare and present papers at conferences.
7. Lead or assist in preparation of project reports for clients.
8. Supervise assigned project teams.
Qualifications:     Experience: Typically requires a minimum of 8 years of related experience
Education: Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent experience.
Travel Requirements: 10 - 25%
