COMPANY DESCRIPTION:

General Biodiesel, Inc., is the only totally vertically integrated biodiesel producer in Washington State.  General Biodiesel purchases waste vegetable oil from its food service partners and produces ASTM certified biodiesel for use in local industry and transportation.  Founded in 2006, General Biodiesel is the leading producer of biodiesel in the region.

 

JOB DESCRIPTION:

The individuals selected will transport materials used in the production of biodiesel fuel, and the delivery and distribution of the final product to specified locations. Driver will be delivering barrels, tanks, containers and various equipment to customer locations.  Heavy lifting, bending and crouching is required. The Driver collects waste oil and fats and cleans containers and container area as necessary. Additionally, the Driver documents collection volumes and maintains truck logs. Driver will clean, inspect and service vehicle as needed.

 

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• A Washington State driver’s license.

• Ability to pass a Driving Record Check and a Drug Test.

• Mechanical experience strongly preferred.

• Experience checking vehicles to ensure that mechanical, safety, and emergency equipment is in good working order.

• Ability to communicate with people outside the organization, representing the organization to customers, the public, government, and other external sources.

• Good Customer Service experience in dealing with the public, clients and other employees.

• Clean-up skill, including oil and grease; ability to use equipment such as vacuums to clean up grease and other products.

• Motor Vehicle Abstract required.

• Must be able to lift, push and pull up to 100 lbs repeatedly during the shift.

• Ability to obtain CDL Class B after hire.

 

HOURS/DAYS/SCHEDULE:

Full time; work schedule to be discussed at the interview.

 

SALARY/WAGE/BENEFITS:

$12.00 per hour to start, with Shift Differential.  After 90 days there is an opportunity for wage review.  Stock Options are being considered for a benefit.  Salary/Wage is depending on experience plus benefits.
