COMPANY DESCRIPTION:
General Biodiesel, Inc. is the only totally vertically integrated biodiesel producer in Washington State.  General Biodiesel purchases waste vegetable oil from its food service partners and produces ASTM-certified biodiesel for use in local industry and transportation.  Founded in 2006, General Biodiesel is the leading producer of biodiesel in the region.

JOB DESCRIPTION:
The Account Executive is an outside sales position.  Your mission will be to contact local restaurants, restaurant chains, and businesses that create used cooking oil waste streams, tell them our story, and contract with them for us to fulfill their used cooking oil collection needs. 

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • Mus be high energy and display a willingness to learn.
  • Must have excellent customer service skills.
  • Must provide own transportation.
  • Must have proof of car insurance.
  • Ability and willingness to travel (mileage expense is reimbursed).
  • Must be able to attend every training session (in person) and meeting (in person or call-in) held at our meeting facilities.
  • Develop and maintain close relations with local business community in order to fulfill clients' needs more effectively.
  • Deepen existing client relationships; generate incremental volume collected each month.
  • Ability to communicate clearly both verbally and in writing.
  • Must be well organized.
  • Excellent people skills and the ability to work wit ha wide range of people.
  • Professional appearance and persona.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Previous Sales Representative Experience.
  • Knowledge of food service industry.
  • Experience in sales-driven environment.

HOURS/DAYS/SCHEDULE:
Full time.  Work schedule to be discussed at the interview. 

SALARY/BENEFITS:
Commission-only for the introductory period of employment.  For those sales professionals that display all of the required characteristics, AND meet all benchmarks and sales goals, there may be an opportunity to move into a full time salary + commission + benefits position at the end of the introductory period.  Stock options are being considered for this position.  EndFragment>
